Description
The City of Albany is seeking qualified airport planning and engineering consultants for two categories of work at Albany Municipal Airport. Category A covers an Airport Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan update, including an aeronautical survey, forecasts, facility requirements, alternatives analysis, public involvement, an environmental overview, an implementation plan, financial feasibility analysis, and updated plan drawings. Firms may submit for Category A, Category B, or both. Category B consists of on-call airport engineering services, including grant project development, engineering design, bidding support, construction administration and inspection, pavement maintenance support, and engineering for airfield lighting, signage, markings, navigation aids, and other airport needs. The City may award the categories separately or to the same firm. Selection is based on qualifications; price is not an evaluation factor, and fee information will be requested during negotiations with the highest-ranked firm. Category A is a project contract for the duration of the plan update; Category B has a term not to exceed five years.
