Description
The City seeks an experienced contractor to provide tree maintenance services on an as-needed basis. Work includes routine pruning, tree takedown and removal, stump grinding and removal, limb chipping, mulch removal, related tree care, consultation, and a lift truck with operator for routine pruning. Emergency mobilization and priority tree removal and cleanup following widespread weather or disaster events are also included. The contractor must have at least one staff arborist certified by the International Society of Arboriculture to oversee tree removal and pruning, maintain applicable Oregon contractor licensing, and provide a current ISA certification with its proposal. The contract is for three years, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Proposals must include an introductory letter; experience, qualifications, and staffing information; a price proposal and rate sheet; four qualifying government-agency references; and the specified proposal certifications. Evidence of insurance is required with the proposal. The price proposal must be submitted as a separate PDF, and a redacted proposal copy is also required. The proposal must be uploaded in non-editable PDF format through the project's Bid Submittal Location.
