Description
The Research Foundation of SUNY is seeking construction management services for the Battery-NY project. This facility will provide access to state-of-the-art battery design and manufacturing technologies at up to 30MWh scale, spanning TRL 4-6. The build-out space comprises approximately 30,000 square feet of internal floor area, housing flexible and modular manufacturing platforms that support multiple cell formats and chemistries. The project includes a full suite of electrode manufacturing equipment, cell assembly lines, and comprehensive formation, aging, and testing capabilities within cleanroom and dryroom environments. The estimated construction phase, including close-out, is anticipated to conclude by March 26, 2027.
