The Town of Stafford is seeking a consulting engineering firm to provide construction inspection services for the replacement of Stone House Road Bridge over Roaring Brook, Bridge No. 04438, State Project No. 0134-0155. The anticipated construction period is April 1, 2027, through May 19, 2028, with the construction contractor allotted 293 calendar days. The construction cost is estimated at approximately $3,100,000, while the inspection fee will be negotiated on a cost-plus basis after interviews and consultant selection. Firms will be evaluated on technical competence, capacity and capability, past performance, and knowledge of federal, state, and Town of Stafford procedures. The proposed team must include personnel in responsible charge who hold a valid Connecticut Professional Engineer license and/or NICET Level 3 or Level 4 certification in Transportation/Highway Construction. Responses must include a letter of interest, firm and subconsultant information, a firm brochure, current Federal GSA Form 330, firm experience, key-personnel resumes, and a detailed organizational-structure statement identifying subconsultants and parent or subsidiary relationships.
