Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is establishing a three-year agency-specific term contract for the as-needed supply and delivery of Purple Heart and Capri Breeze poplin fabric for its Correction Enterprises Sewing Plant. The State guarantees no minimum or maximum quantity; the pricing form provides one-year estimates of 20,000 yards of each fabric. The fabric must meet detailed specifications, including 65% polyester/35% cotton fiber content, a minimum finished weight of 4.25 ounces per square yard, 63-inch cuttable width, specified yarn, shrinkage, strength, pilling, dyeing, and finish requirements. Domestic product is preferred, samples of the exact products are required before bid opening, and the vendor must provide manufacturer authorization, warranty information, customer references, financial certification, sustainability information, and other completed solicitation attachments. Deliveries must be made within 30 days after purchase-order notification, with specified packaging, labeling, packing-slip, testing, and safety-data-sheet requirements.
