Description
The Town of Surfside Beach is requesting qualifications from skilled contractors to provide a wide range of beach services under a franchise agreement. The initial term is four years, beginning April 1, 2027, with an option for one additional three-year term subject to written request and Town Council approval. Services are governed by the applicable franchise ordinance, and responders must identify any services not provided under the current contract. Responders must complete the Qualifications Form and Beach Contact Questionnaire. The submission must address company experience, pending litigation, drownings during the prior five years, references, recommendation letters, financial stability, staffing, equipment inventory, training standards and certifications, certified occupational and health providers, and employee compliance with OSHA requirements, including shot-record compliance for the prior three years. The qualifications must also include the required affidavit and other executed solicitation documents.
