Description
Coastal Carolina University is seeking a contractor to furnish and deliver new, unused, current-production GE residential appliances and compatible accessories on an as-needed basis for university housing. The required products include top-load washing machines, vented electric dryers, built-in dishwashers, washing-machine connection kits, appliance clamps, four-prong dryer power cords, dryer vent kits, and dishwasher connection kits. Reference models are GE GTW325ASWWW, GTX33EASKWW, and GDT535PGRWW, or University-approved GE equivalents meeting the stated capacity, configuration, dimensional, performance, color, and compatibility requirements. The University will issue individual purchase orders and does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity. The base contract is one year with one additional one-year renewal option, with an estimated maximum contract period from November 16, 2026, through November 15, 2028; the final effective date will be stated in the award. Installation, electrical, plumbing, vent modifications, removal, haul-away, and disposal are excluded unless expressly ordered. Bidders must provide manufacturer literature and specifications for proposed products, complete the bid schedule, and submit three references substantiating relevant past performance.
