Description
The District seeks a contractor to maintain landscaped and hardscape areas at its main facilities, remote facilities, pumping stations, and properties. Work includes scheduled mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, weeding, fertilizing, planting and replanting, irrigation operation and repairs, pest and rodent control, and cleanup. The scope also includes annual weed abatement on fields and easements, routine and unscheduled maintenance, and emergency response. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision needed to perform the work, and comply with applicable licensing, pesticide-use, prevailing-wage, and environmentally preferable landscaping requirements. The contract term is five years. The proposal must include the specified cost, experience and qualifications, references, approach and staffing, and responses to the contract terms, along with the required proposal forms. The District evaluates cost, experience, approach, conformance to terms, and proposal quality and completeness.
