Binghamton University is seeking a qualified general construction contractor to replace elevator entrances, cabs, hoistway components, pumps, controllers, and associated electrical and fire alarm panels and devices. The base bid covers two elevators in Mohawk Hall, with an alternate scope covering one elevator in Cayuga Hall. The contract term is 74 calendar days. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Conference Room C of the Physical Facilities Building. Prospective bidders must purchase the bid set through the designated plan room to be considered responsible bidders. The solicitation identifies participation goals of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, 23% for Minority-Owned Businesses, and 7% for Women-Owned Businesses.
