Description
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority is soliciting services for three backup generators at its Central Office and Camp 12/Green Valley Training Center. The contractor must provide recurring maintenance, repairs, testing, monitoring of propane levels, emergency response, maintenance records, and generator exercising in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and NFPA 110. Required work includes monthly, 90-day, annual, and biannual maintenance activities, including load testing, oil and filter changes, inspections, adjustments, and replacement of worn components. The contractor must be licensed, bonded, registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and provide proof of insurance. The solicitation requires three similar project references from the past three years, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and submission of the specified certifications, licenses, permits, cost sheet, and other bid attachments. The anticipated term is two years with an option to extend for one additional year; subcontractors may not perform more than 50% of the contract dollar amount.
