Description
The U.S. Department of Labor, on behalf of the Mine Safety and Health Administration, is seeking a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and related resources necessary to remove and dispose of existing ducting and install new ducting in the Building 9 ventilation system. The work includes ceramic-lined stainless-steel ducting and stainless-steel ducting with dampers designed to withstand an acidic hydrogen chloride environment, temperatures of approximately 750°F, negative pressure from airflow of up to 5,000 CFM, and performance for more than 10 years. The contractor must meet applicable construction-safety requirements and maintain ventilation functionality for testing. The anticipated award is a single firm-fixed-price task order. Work must be completed within 60 days after contract award. Proposals must include technical and price information, demonstrate compliance with the Performance Work Statement, and remain valid for 90 days from the proposal due date. The procurement is a Women-Owned Small Business solicitation and is also identified as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
