Description
The Texas Department of Public Safety seeks a contractor to provide DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing services statewide. The scope includes urine, breath, hair, nail, and oral-fluid testing; specimen collection at collection sites and on-site or mobile collections; laboratory analysis and confirmation; random testing program management; Medical Review Officer services; reporting; customer support; and training. Services must support pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, return-to-duty, follow-up, and split-specimen testing. The contractor must coordinate collection sites near DPS facilities throughout Texas and provide emergency after-hours availability. The solicitation requires relevant program experience, qualified administrators and collectors, and documentation demonstrating laboratory certifications and accreditations. Pricing is submitted using the mandatory pricing schedule; no minimum volume or compensation is guaranteed.
