Description
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is seeking bids for one new mobile bunkhouse trailer, approximately 34–40 feet long, capable of sleeping at least 8–10 people. Required features include two restroom/shower areas, propane water heating, separate room entrances, entry lighting, continuous easy-clean flooring, bunk capacity of at least 500 pounds per bunk, 500-gallon wastewater capacity, at least 400-gallon freshwater capacity, two electrical outlets and two USB ports per sleeping space, 50-amp service, two propane tanks, a heavy-duty chassis, RV-style steps, air conditioning and heat in each room and bathroom, storage lockers, and fire extinguishers in each room. The maximum gross vehicle weight rating is 22,800 pounds. Preferred features include soundproofing, individual temperature control, convertible room sizes and sleeping arrangements, a bumper-pull configuration, keyed access, 12-volt ventilation fans, and fold-down nightstand shelves. The trailer is subject to agency inspection before acceptance, and the agency will pick it up from the vendor’s location. Bidders must provide warranty information, descriptive literature and technical specifications, and drawings or pictures of the offered unit. Delivery is preferred before March 2027.
