Description
Oneida County is soliciting proposals for operation of a 386-square-foot concessions facility at the Oneida County Office Building. The operator must provide concessions and New York State Lottery services on all County workdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including reasonably priced snacks, beverages, hot and cold grab-and-go lunch options, and a New York Lottery vending machine. On-site preparation of food or snacks, other than beverages, is prohibited; tobacco, smoking, and alcoholic products are prohibited. The operator will be responsible for security and janitorial cleaning within the concessions space, equipment and vending-machine maintenance, approved improvements, required permits, and compliance with applicable laws. The initial lease term is five years, and the County will negotiate lease terms with the selected proposer. The proposal must address the operating concept, menus and pricing, improvements, business plan and operating budget, personnel, experience, financial resources, references, and proposed lease fee. The selected lessee must maintain specified commercial general liability, excess, property, workers' compensation, employer's liability, and business automobile insurance.
