Description
Capital District Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation is soliciting proposals for snowplowing services at its Cleats branch location at 16 Main Street, Whitesboro, New York, and other locations identified in the bid materials. Services include plowing when snowfall reaches a minimum of two inches, completing plowing no later than 10:30 a.m., applying additional sand or salt upon request, and removing or taking back excessive snowbanks at an hourly rate. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the work. Bidders must submit pricing by individual location, including a per-plow price, per-application price for sanding or salting, and hourly pricing for snowbank removal. The initial contract term runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2028, with up to two successive 24-month extensions by mutual agreement. Required submission materials include insurance proof, at least three references, exceptions to specifications, signed non-collusive certification and general conditions forms, required guarantees, and a pricing sheet. A performance-bonding-capacity letter may be requested. Subcontracting requires express written consent.
