Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for a rebid construction project at the Old Cheney Road and Tierra Williamsburg Trail intersection. The work includes installation of four rectangular rapid flashing beacons, foundations, pull boxes, electrical meter pedestal, conduit, cabling, pedestrian push-button equipment, concrete sidewalk and bikeway improvements, combined curb and gutter, detectable warning panels, pavement and sidewalk removal, seeding, construction staking, and traffic control. The City will furnish the RRFB poles and equipment kits; the contractor must coordinate their installation with the City signal shop and coordinate utility, traffic, trail, access, and detour requirements. The contractor must complete the work within 45 consecutive calendar days after the beginning of work, with work permitted to begin on or after October 30, 2026, and final completion required by August 27, 2027. A performance bond and payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required upon award. The bid response must include the completed Excel Bid Item List and Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act Certification Form; electronic acknowledgments and supplier information are also required through the bidding system.
