Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for a master agreement covering high-voltage equipment maintenance and repair services at participating correctional and youth correctional facilities. The scope includes preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, continuous load recording, electrical testing, emergency and scheduled repairs, equipment removal, parts replacement, equipment rentals, and related services. Bidders may submit rates for one or more participating locations, but must provide rates for every listed item within each location selected. The Exhibit B-1 Rate Sheet includes extensive equipment categories such as switchgear, protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, vacuum switches, automatic transfer switches, circuit switchers, capacitor banks, power poles, batteries, and associated components. Rates must include all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, and other necessary expenses. The solicitation also requires applicable licensing and qualifications, safety and technical compliance, service records and reports, professional references for each service technician, and adherence to prevailing wage requirements.
