Description
The New York State Office of General Services, on behalf of the Office of Children and Family Services, is soliciting separate contracts for construction work and electrical work to replace electrical panels at MacCormick Secure Center. The estimated contract value is $100,000 to $250,000 for the construction contract and $2,000,000 to $3,000,000 for the electrical contract. Bids must include bid security of $17,600 for the construction contract or $80,400 for the electrical contract. Successful bidders must provide performance bonds and labor and material bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. The solicitation establishes 30% overall MWBE participation goals, consisting of 15% MBE and 15% WBE goals, and 6% SDVOB participation goals for each trade contract. Electronic bidding and document access are handled through Bid Express. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for November 5, 2026, and prospective attendees must schedule at least 48 hours in advance.
