Description
The Authority seeks a contractor to collect, handle, transport, and dispose of or recycle hazardous and non-hazardous RCRA-regulated waste from its collection locations. Waste streams include paints and solvents, antifreeze, petroleum-contaminated materials, corrosive liquids, pesticides and herbicides, fluorescent tubes and HID bulbs, flammable and toxic materials, lab packs, aerosol cans, and road flares. Services include waste profiling and facility approvals, container preparation and labeling, manifests and other shipping documentation, and disposal records. The contractor must comply with applicable environmental, safety, and transportation regulations and hold required permits and licenses. Pickups are requested as needed, with collection required within 30 calendar days after notification. The contract is for five years from the date of award, with estimated quantities and pricing by division and waste sub-item; actual quantities are not guaranteed. Bidders may submit pricing for one or more divisions, but must price every sub-item within each division bid. The Authority prefers electronic submission through Bid Express and also accepts hard-copy bids. Required bid materials include four specified certifications/disclosure forms and bid pricing.
