Description
The State University of New York at Polytechnic Institute is soliciting sealed bids for reconstruction and replacement of the existing roofing system and designated HVAC systems at its Facilities Building. The work includes associated demolition, materials, labor, equipment, and related construction in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. The contract work must be completed within 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid security of at least 5% of the total bid is required. Participation goals are 11% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, 19% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. Applicable New York State Public Work Contractor Registration requirements apply; subcontracting is permitted, with the prime contractor remaining responsible for performance.
