Description
This project involves the full reconstruction of approximately 450 linear feet of East Avenue S from Jackson Street to Mississippi Street, including one intersection. Key components include variable head curb installation, updating ADA pedestrian ramps, and replacing pedestrian curb as necessary. The project also includes new and replacement installations of sanitary sewer and manholes, new and replacement water mains with service connections, and replacement storm sewer and catch basins. The City of La Crosse Streets Department will handle initial removals of existing pavements, sidewalks, and curb and gutter. The contractor will be responsible for all repairs to existing structures damaged during construction. Bids are due by 12:10 PM on July 1, 2026, with an estimated completion date of October 29, 2026.
