Monroe County, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive landscaping services for various county-owned properties in the Sparta Area. The scope of work includes weekly mowing, bi-weekly string trimming, sidewalk edging, fall leaf pickup, and fertilization/weed control for designated areas. Alternate services, such as weeding flower beds, refreshing mulch, removal and replacement of dead plants, and tree/shrub pruning, are also available for separate bidding. Services are to be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with special arrangements for services outside these hours requiring approval. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment and tools. A mandatory pre-bid site tour is required for all bidders, with tours scheduled for June 22 and June 29-30, 2026. Bids are due by 10:00 a.m. on July 6, 2026, and must be submitted either sealed to Adrian Lockington at the Monroe County Executive Center or electronically via OpenBids-DemandStar. The contract will have an initial term of one year, with options to extend for two additional years.
