Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing comprehensive maintenance and service support for an Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System (Serial Number SH00902) located at the Whitney Genetics Laboratory in Onalaska, Wisconsin. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a solicitation for quotations or proposals, and is for market research purposes only. The requirement includes a comprehensive maintenance and service agreement covering all replacement parts, labor, travel costs, reagent replacement due to hardware failures, one annual preventative maintenance service, remote technical support (5x18), a two-business day on-site response time, and control software/hardware updates and upgrades. All services must adhere to OEM-recommended procedures and be performed by trained and authorized technicians. Applications support is also included. Interested parties must demonstrate experience maintaining and servicing the specific system, possess OEM-trained and authorized personnel, be capable of providing OEM software/firmware/hardware updates, replacement parts, and reagents, and meet the specified maintenance and response time requirements. Firms should also describe their relationship with Illumina (distributor, reseller, service partner, etc.). Responses are due by June 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM Central Time, submitted via email to dana_arnold@ios.doi.gov with the subject line 'Sources Sought ? MiSeq i100 Plus Maintenance and Service Agreement'.
