Description
The San Antonio Water System is soliciting an electronic quote for CHLR calcium hypochlorite, item 10347: granular calcium hypochlorite with a minimum 65% available chlorine content, white to light-gray appearance, and moisture-resistant packaging totaling 100 pounds. The specified material is UN2880 calcium hypochlorite hydrated mixtures, Packaging Group II, Class 5.1 oxidizer; approved equals are not allowed. Pricing must include delivery or freight on an F.O.B. destination basis. The product must be suitable for water treatment and disinfection and furnished with an appropriate safety data sheet and manufacturer quality documentation. Award will be based on the lowest qualified bid, with base year and extensions considered if applicable; the buyer reserves the right to award the RFQ to one source.
