Description
The City seeks car washing services for its city-owned vehicles. Standard washing includes an exterior wash, interior vacuuming, cleaning exterior windows, glass, and rims, and tire dressing. The fleet is approximately 150 vehicles, with historical usage of about 95 washes per month; the number of vehicles to be washed is unlimited. Pricing is requested by vehicle type, with optional detailing services available on an as-needed basis. The contract period is stated as January 1 through December 31, 2027, although one proposal-sheet passage in the attached RFP instead gives January 1 through December 31, 2026. The RFP also requires bidders to be located within three miles of the municipality's boundaries. The lowest responsible total bid is the stated award basis, subject to the City's right to reject proposals or award in part or whole.
