Description
The U.S. Army Reserve 99th Readiness Division is conducting market research for custodial services at its Ashley, Pennsylvania facility. The anticipated firm-fixed-price contract would require the contractor to provide all personnel, supervision, supplies, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and related services necessary to maintain designated offices, restrooms, work areas, entrances, lobbies, storage areas, drill and assembly halls, auditoriums, stairways, and other spaces. The draft Performance Work Statement includes weekly, monthly, and annual services such as waste removal, restroom cleaning and replenishment, floor sweeping and mopping, spray cleaning and buffing, floor waxing and stripping/re-waxing, low- and high-dusting, door and frame cleaning, and carpet and rug vacuuming and shampooing. The contractor must maintain quality control, provide an onsite representative during normal duty hours, furnish Safety Data Sheets for chemicals, comply with installation access and security requirements, and support inspections and reporting. This is a Sources Sought/RFI rather than a solicitation for immediate award; respondents are asked to provide a capability statement, relevant experience, business and socioeconomic status, company information, applicable NAICS information, and any planned subcontracting or teaming arrangements.
