Description
The District seeks a comprehensive, evidence-based standalone English as a New Language curriculum for grades 9–12. The curriculum should support entering and emerging English learners, including newcomers and students with interrupted formal education, through integrated instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Required features include age-appropriate materials, grade-level texts with scaffolding, culturally responsive and trauma-informed instruction, home-language support, authentic performance and portfolio tasks, and tools to monitor student progress. The proposal should address digital platform compatibility, accessibility, rostering, reporting, and offline access where applicable. Vendors must also describe implementation support and professional learning, including ongoing coaching and training. Responses must include a detailed scope of services, cost estimates using the provided Excel template, condensed requirement summaries, vendor qualifications and references, required certifications and forms, and responses to the District’s contract and data privacy terms. The contract is for an initial one-year term and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year terms.
