Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is procuring a complete landfill gas blower/flare system, including design, manufacture, supply and delivery, installation-related design support, startup, testing, training, and initial operational support. The system must include three variable-frequency-drive-controlled blowers, gas handling and interconnecting piping, an enclosed combustor flare, flame arrestor, knockout pot, propane ignition, control panels, PLC-based controls, SCADA and remote monitoring, flow and temperature recording, safety shutdowns, and auxiliary equipment. The system must handle approximately 1,000–4,000 SCFM and meet specified landfill-gas composition, emissions, environmental, seismic, wind, noise, and regulatory requirements. The bidder must provide design submittals, shop drawings, performance data, operation and maintenance manuals, test procedures, calibration documentation, spare parts, references demonstrating successful U.S. landfill installations, factory testing, onsite startup and testing, operator training, demonstrations, and five years of equipment maintenance and testing. The solicitation is awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and the completed cost sheet must include the equipment, spare parts, factory testing and documentation, training/setup fees, and startup, field services, and demonstrations.
