Description
Preferred Construction Inc. is soliciting qualified subcontractors and suppliers for a single-prime project to construct a new freestanding, single-use men's and women's restroom facility at Thomas Muratore Park. The scope includes installation of a nitrogen-reducing septic system, site grading, electric and water utility connections, lighting, and breakout pricing for specified project components. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements and is tax exempt. OSHA cards are required. Participation goals are 4% MBE, 6% WBE, and 6% SDVOB. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, comprehensive automobile liability, umbrella/excess liability, and contractors protective liability coverage, with stated limits including $2,000,000 per project for general liability, $1,000,000 comprehensive auto liability, and $1,000,000 each occurrence and aggregate for additional bodily injury and property damage coverage. Substantial completion is specified as 180 days from the notice to proceed.
