Description
Eastern New Mexico University is soliciting construction services for the Aviation Maintenance Building Expansion at its Roswell campus. The project involves expansion and renovation of the aviation maintenance facility, including an approximately 13,220-square-foot addition that will expand the completed facility to approximately 42,653 square feet. The work supports aviation maintenance education and workforce training and includes an aircraft hangar, instructional shops, classrooms, laboratories, storage, and related support spaces. The scope includes selective demolition; site and utility improvements; grading, drainage, paving, fencing, and exterior lighting; concrete foundations and slabs; structural steel, metal framing, roofing, EIFS, doors, glazing, finishes, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire alarm, electrical, lighting, telecommunications, audiovisual, and security systems. The proposal must include company experience, past-performance references, key-personnel qualifications and references, a project plan, a signed letter of transmittal, a campaign contribution disclosure form, applicable New Mexico preference documentation, and a completed cost response form. The contract is for a one-time construction project with a 360-calendar-day construction period from written notice to proceed.
