Description
The City of Pomona is soliciting bids for a five-year contract to supply and deliver three material categories: asphalt concrete cold mix, crushed aggregate base Class II, and washed concrete sand. Materials must comply with the latest Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction. Estimated annual usage is 353 tons of asphalt concrete, 1,559 tons of crushed aggregate base, and 77 tons of washed concrete sand; quantities are not guaranteed and may increase or decrease based on the City's needs. The contractor must provide fresh asphalt concrete from its plant, accept orders Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and deliver orders to the requested location within 48 hours. Pricing is requested by ton for each material and by visit for delivery, with annual pricing for Years 1 through 5. The bid package requires a completed bid sheet and other signed forms, including an acknowledgment of authorization, minority business questionnaire, non-collusion statement, indemnification agreement, three comparable government references from the past five years, and an Executive Order N-6-22 certification. Responses must be uploaded as a single PDF through the designated electronic bidding system.
