Description
Lexington County School District One is soliciting bids for detention and retention pond maintenance at 22 schools and district facilities. The work includes mowing and clearing pond areas, banks, outfall structures, check dams, sediment fore-bays, fencing, drainage ditches, and related grounds; removing leaves, grass clippings, limbs, trees, and other debris; and maintaining a neat and functional site condition. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides; be licensed by South Carolina to apply chemicals; maintain chemical-application records and safety data sheets; and comply with applicable OSHA, DHEC, EPA, and other requirements. Services are scheduled twice annually, in May and October, with service tickets required for each location. The solicitation requires a signed Cover Page and Page Two, pricing for all listed locations, five professional grounds-maintenance references, and the Site Visit Record Form only for vendors that attend the strongly encouraged, non-mandatory site visit.
