Description
Richland School District Two is seeking a contractor for districtwide, on-call arborist and grounds services at schools, administrative facilities, athletic sites, support facilities, undeveloped parcels, stormwater areas, and other district property. The scope includes arborist inspections and tree-risk assessments; pruning; tree, stump, and root services; tree removal; brush and vegetation clearing; stormwater-area clearing; chipping, mulching, and wood handling; tree planting; grounds cleanup and debris removal; and incidental restoration. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, traffic and pedestrian control, lawful disposal, and emergency response. Work is ordered as needed, with no guaranteed minimum. The contractor must maintain at least one ISA Certified Arborist, provide proof of certification with the bid, have at least five years of relevant experience, and submit three similar client references from the past five years. Emergency response targets are a two-hour call-back and four-hour on-site response within the district service area. The initial term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal options, ending no later than August 31, 2031.
