Description
The City of Champlin is soliciting proposals from qualified concession operators to lease and operate a 474-square-foot concession area at Mississippi Crossings Event Center. The preferred concept includes ice cream, frozen desserts, soft-serve products, specialty treats, coffee beverages, specialty beverages, and general concession-style food. The operator must propose operating hours, support community events and programs, furnish equipment applicable to its operations, maintain customer service, cleanliness, and hygiene, and provide timely reports and payments. The initial lease term is January 6, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Proposers must submit an operator background, business concept, proposed operating hours, similar business experience if applicable, annual lease rates for each of the three years, and conflict-of-interest disclosures. The minimum requested lease rate for 2027 is $15,000. The selected operator must maintain specified liability, automobile, workers’ compensation, and errors-and-omissions insurance, provide certificates before beginning operations, and comply with applicable permits, licenses, health codes, and other legal requirements.
