Description
Tulsa Community College is soliciting proposals for fire sprinkler system expansion work at its West and Southeast campuses. The scope includes labor, materials, equipment, permits, design drawings, hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, installation, coordination with existing systems and other trades, fire alarm supervisory interfaces, testing, inspections, commissioning, and required approvals. The work includes wet-pipe sprinkler systems, piping, fittings, valves, sprinklers, accessories, hangers, alarm devices, antifreeze loops, riser connections, and related fire protection components. Contractors must comply with applicable NFPA standards, local authority requirements, and specified UL/FM listing requirements. The Southeast Campus scope specifically covers sprinkler installation in Building 3, while the West Campus documents cover the Liberal Arts, Science and Math North buildings, and walkways. Underground work, electrical/alarm work beyond specified interfaces, fire pumps, water storage tanks, seismic protection, fire extinguishers, access panels, and 3D/BIM design are excluded where identified. Responses must include the digital bid form, a signed and notarized Competitive Bid Affidavit, supporting documents, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the proposed project cost. The successful bidder must later provide payment, performance, and maintenance bonds before contract execution.
