Description
The City of Crossville’s Leisure Services Department is soliciting sealed bids for the removal and disposal of existing natural infield turf and the supply and installation of synthetic turf systems on four softball infields at Warner Field Complex in Centennial Park. The work includes site preparation, grading, engineered aggregate base, subsurface drainage, edging, shock pads, synthetic turf, infill, seaming, field markings and logos, and restoration of disturbed areas. Outfields are excluded. Proposed systems must meet minimum specifications including a 1.25–2-inch pile height, 50–80 ounces per square yard face weight, nylon or nylon/polyethylene-blend fibers, sand or engineered infill, a dedicated shock-absorbing pad, engineered base and drainage, and an eight-year minimum manufacturer materials warranty. Bidders must provide product specification sheets, a base and drainage design, pricing for all four fields with per-field breakdowns, schedule and sequencing information, warranty terms, qualifications, licensing, references from at least three comparable projects completed within the last five years, and proof of insurance and bonding capacity. The bid package requires one hard-copy binder and one digital copy on a flash drive; electronic bids are not accepted.
