Description
The California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS) is seeking a Defined Contribution Program Consultant to provide specialized expertise for its defined contribution programs, including Pension2 and 403bCompare. The consultant will offer strategic advice on investment oversight, fiduciary governance, recordkeeper oversight and accountability, fee benchmarking and cost analysis, regulatory compliance, and plan administration support. Key responsibilities include program advisory, design, and governance services, plan and program reviews, industry trend monitoring, recordkeeper oversight, and providing training. The consultant will also focus on investment oversight for the Pension2 program, including developing and monitoring glide paths, conducting investment research, and providing fund recommendations. Additionally, the role involves legislative monitoring and impact analysis, assistance with plan document updates, and ensuring IRS and state compliance.
