Description
Henry County Water Authority is soliciting a qualified contractor to complete a kitchen renovation at its Indian Creek Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes demolition and disposal of existing cabinetry, adhered wall tile, and an existing sink; installation of new upper and lower cabinets, a kitchen island, solid-surface countertops, a double-bowl undermount stainless-steel sink, and a compatible faucet; plumbing reconnection and testing; electrical receptacles, wiring, boxes, breakers, and related work for the island and owner-furnished appliances; installation of owner-supplied flooring; minor wall repair and painting; protection of existing property; and final cleanup. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, disposal, and incidental items necessary for a complete installation, verify field conditions and dimensions before ordering materials, coordinate the work with the Authority, and comply with applicable building, plumbing, electrical, safety, and other codes. The prime contractor must hold a valid Georgia general contractor’s license. The bid requires three to five references for similar work performed within the past three to five years, with client authorization letters for each reference, and permits qualifying references from a named subcontractor. Performance and payment bonds are not required for this project; insurance requirements apply.
