Description
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania for Data Analysis and Harmonization Services in support of the Alzheimer's Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP). This project involves processing, harmonizing, and storing 4,799 raw sequencing datasets. The services include genome analysis and harmonization on Amazon Cloud using established ADSP pipelines, processing raw sequencing data, performing quality assurance checks, and providing cloud-based storage for up to three years. The anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027. This acquisition is being conducted on a sole source basis because the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, through their Genome Center for Alzheimer's Disease (GCAD) and NIA Genetics of Alzheimer's Disease Data Storage Site (NIAGADS), are uniquely capable of meeting the requirement due to their established pipelines and integration with the ADSP repository environment, ensuring methodological continuity.
