Description
The Pennsylvania State Police is soliciting bids for comprehensive lawn care maintenance services at their Troop C Lewis Run facility, located at 130 Airport Road, Lewis Run, PA 16738. Services are to be provided for a period of five (5) years, commencing upon issuance of a valid purchase order. The scope of work includes weekly mowing, which requires bagging of clippings if a week is missed, and includes weed trimming around all walkways, parking lots, buildings, and the impound lot. Additionally, monthly weed control is required, encompassing spraying weed killer, trimming weeds, and pulling weeds from rock beds and landscaping, with specific attention to keeping weeds off the fence within the impound lot. Vendors must supply all necessary equipment and remove all clippings, trimmings, and lawn debris from the premises. Special care must be taken to ensure cut grass does not fall on State Police or personal vehicles. The frequency of mowing and weed control may be adjusted by the Station Commander based on weather conditions. Bidders are required to visit the site and obtain a signed site visit form from the Station Commander or authorized representative. This visit must be performed by the entity responsible for invoicing. All subcontractors are held to the same standards as prime contractors. The Commonwealth will only pay for services rendered, with no obligation to guarantee a minimum amount of work. Bids must be submitted electronically through the PA supplier portal at www.pasupplierportal.state.pa.us. Required documentation includes a completed cost matrix, the signed proof of visit form, a completed Worker Protection and Investment form (BOP-2201), current PA small business certification, and proof of insurance listing PSP as the certificate holder and additional insured.
