Description
The J.B. Nickells Memorial Library is seeking qualified architectural, design, and construction firms for a turnkey modernization of its main public entrance, or for specific components of the work. The project is intended to create a welcoming, secure, energy-efficient, and fully ADA-compliant entryway. The anticipated scope includes an interior vestibule; ADA-compliant automatic doors, ramps, and handrails; thermal-efficient glass; weather-stripping; and energy-saving LED lighting. Proposals must include a company profile and experience with similar public or civic projects, a technical approach with conceptual designs, proposed materials, and schedule, and a comprehensive itemized cost proposal covering labor, materials, and potential hidden fees. Proposers must also provide contact information for at least three references for similar projects. The project is contingent on grant approval.
