The Mississippi Transportation Commission, acting through the Mississippi Department of Transportation, seeks an agency contract for the as-needed purchase and delivery of corrosion-inhibited liquid calcium chloride. The product must be a 32% solution of calcium chloride and water at 77°F and meet or exceed AASHTO M 144. Pricing is requested per gallon for full-truckload quantities, with delivery by the contractor's trucks to designated MDOT locations. Deliveries are to be available Monday through Thursday between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and the contractor must provide delivery certifications for weight, temperature, and gallons loaded, as well as a means to verify specific gravity and temperature at delivery. The contract runs from Commission approval through September 30, 2027, with possible extensions of up to 24 additional months, in 12-month increments, subject to written acceptance by both parties. Bidders must submit completed bid forms, pricing pages, the required employment eligibility verification certification, detailed product literature, and the other checklist items identified in the bid packet. Responses may be submitted electronically through the State's MAGIC Procurement Portal or as a sealed paper bid; email and facsimile submissions are not accepted.
