Description
Cherokee County is soliciting sealed bids for construction of Marble Industrial Park. The work includes tree clearing and stump removal; erosion and sediment control; mass grading; water main extension using jack-and-bore methods; construction of a lift station and associated appurtenances; electrical service and standby generator installation; and construction of a force main with jack-and-bore crossings. The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required by the contract documents. Bids must include a cash deposit, certified check, or five-percent bid bond. Bidders must be appropriately licensed as contractors under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87 and must acknowledge all addenda on the bid form. The contract may be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder or bidders, considering quality, performance, and time.
