Description
The City of Carson is seeking a qualified audiovisual systems integrator to provide a turnkey design-build solution for its event center. The scope includes system design and engineering, equipment procurement, removal and reuse of portions of existing systems, installation, network configuration, programming, integration, testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, staff training, warranty service, and five years of annual maintenance and as-needed technical support. The system will support an outdoor amphitheater, courtyard, main ballroom, side ballrooms, and related event-center spaces. Required capabilities include professional-grade audio, video, lighting, digital signage, live production, recording, streaming, electronic voting and meeting-platform interoperability, centralized control, room combining, secure network integration, ADA-compliant assistive listening, weather-rated outdoor equipment, and operation by nontechnical staff. The proposer must demonstrate at least three years of audiovisual design and integration experience and three comparable design-build projects completed within the last ten years. The resulting agreement is intended to run for five years, with an estimated initial project duration of 45 business days.
