Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting piston tube assemblies under an emergency acquisition. The contractor must provide assemblies marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073. The contractor must maintain an approved quality-control system equivalent to MIL-I-45208A, MIL-Q-9858, or applicable ISO 9000-series standards. Requirements include documented receiving inspection, dimensional and material inspection records, test and repair procedures, a repair quality plan, control of purchased materials, nonconforming-material procedures, failure analysis and corrective-action reporting, and historical records for each processed item. The Government may select completed items for performance, environmental, and quality-conformance testing.
