Description
Lamesa Independent School District is making public notice of its intent to apply for the ESSA Consolidated Application for federal grant funding for the 2025-2026 school year. The district will apply for three program areas: Title I, Part A ($690,970) to provide supplemental resources for schools with high concentrations of low-income students, with proposed usage including personnel for student, teacher, and classroom support (94%), professional and contracted services (4.5%), supplies and materials (1%), and other operating expenses (0.5%); Title II, Part A ($86,913) to improve teacher and principal effectiveness, with proposed usage including personnel for teacher and campus leadership support (86%), professional and contracted services (2%), supplies and materials (12%), and other operating costs (less than 0.01%); and Title IV, Part A ($53,724) to provide students with a well-rounded education, improve school conditions, and enhance technology use, with proposed usage including personnel for student support (95%) and supplies and materials (5%).
