Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking capability information from commercial sources able to manufacture, bottle, and deliver potable water to designated U.S. military operating locations in Peru. The anticipated recurring requirement includes cases of individual bottled water and/or five-gallon polycarbonate or PET jugs, with multiple scheduled deliveries per week. Containers must be commercially packaged, tamper-evident, and compliant with U.S. and Peruvian food-safety and potable-water standards, with at least six months of remaining shelf life upon delivery. Production facilities must be listed in the applicable sanitary-approval directory or pass an initial on-site audit by U.S. Army Public Health Command/Veterinary Services before contract award or product delivery. Respondents are asked to provide a capability statement of no more than five pages covering company and facility information, registration and sanitary-audit status, product capabilities, weekly capacity, and distribution coverage. This is a Sources Sought/RFI for market research, not a solicitation for proposals or quotations.
