Description
The United Nations Development Programme in Mexico seeks an individual consultant to support implementation of the Iguales 2.0 project in Yucatán. The work includes coordinating with education authorities, participating schools, and community partners; preparing a territorial work plan; supporting teachers and students in applying the project’s methodology and learning materials; and conducting school visits and follow-up. The project focuses on gender equality, social inclusion, youth development, and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. The consultant will also support monitoring and evaluation, maintain project data and evidence, prepare progress reports, identify local partners, and contribute to knowledge-management and communications materials. The assignment is estimated at 21 months, with a mix of remote work and required in-person presence at schools, communities, and local meetings. The consultant must reside in Yucatán. The solicitation requests a technical proposal, an economic proposal and cost breakdown, a detailed CV, evidence of relevant work and qualifications, and specified tax and fiscal documentation; proposals must be submitted through the Quantum supplier portal.
