Description
Correctional Service Canada intends to award a contract for two teachers/instructors to provide adult education services to inmates, including Adult Basic Education and adapted programs, courses leading to an Adult High School Diploma, and other requested education and digital programs. Services include individualized instruction and education plans, assessment and counseling, coordination of courses and tutors, bilingual programming, testing, student progress records, and related reporting. One instructor must serve as Lead Teacher, and one of the two resources must be bilingual in English and French. The proposed contract period is 15 months, from January 1, 2027, through March 31, 2028, with two additional one-year extension options. The estimated value, including options, is $670,089.50, excluding GST/HST. This is an Advance Contract Award Notice: interested suppliers may submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating that they meet the stated experience and qualification requirements by the closing deadline. The notice identifies New Brunswick Community College as the pre-identified supplier. The contractor and personnel must meet the stated Canadian security screening and reliability-status requirements.
