Description
The Birmingham Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids for surfacing the practice running track at Ramsay High School. The work includes, but is not limited to, installing an asphalt wearing layer and synthetic track surfacing. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the Birmingham Board of Education, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid and no more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Bidders must use the proposal forms furnished by the Landscape Architect. Contractors exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must provide evidence of a current General Contractors license. Performance and payment bonds, along with evidence of insurance, will be required at contract signing.
